Job Summary

Blackstone, the world's largest alternative asset manager, seeks a skilled Financial Reporting Associate to join its SEC Reporting Group. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for preparing and reporting financial information across multiple Blackstone registrants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review 10-K, 10-Q, and earnings release reports for multiple Blackstone registrants.
  • Conduct research and prepare financial disclosures, including MD&A and footnotes.
  • Verify and review public disclosures for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect, summarize, and analyze disclosure data, and prepare work papers and data presentations.
  • Process SEC documents and maintain control and integrity of disclosure data.
  • Partner with other groups to ensure complete data collection and verification.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the financial services industry is strongly preferred.
  • Accounting and disclosure research experience is essential.
  • Narrative financial reporting and disclosure management software experience is highly desirable.
  • Public company disclosure, reporting, and auditing technical knowledge (GAAP, SEC, GAAS) is required.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities are necessary.
  • Proactive, independent, and able to thrive in a dynamic team-based environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Compensation

The expected annual base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $130,000. Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components, including but not limited to, the individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location.
