Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Clinical Placement Coordinator to join our team at Helene Fuld College of Nursing. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in securing clinical placements for our nursing students, ensuring their success and growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with Program Directors to determine student placement needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare institutions, ensuring seamless clinical experiences for our students.
  • Create and manage schedules for adjunct coordinators, facilitating efficient payroll processing.
  • Communicate placement agreements and updates to Program Directors, ensuring timely implementation.
  • Onboard new students at clinical facilities, promoting a smooth transition into the program.
  • Attend new student orientations for both AAS and GBS programs, fostering a supportive learning environment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Master's degree (preferred)
  • New York State Nursing License
  • Extensive connections within NYC medical facilities
  • Familiarity with basic medical terminology and hospital organization systems
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and public relations skills
  • Able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with multiple stakeholders
  • Proficient in creating and improving systems for managing variables
  • Flexible and proactive, with a high level of dedication to delivering results
