About the Role

The Hodge Western Corp is a technology-driven, specialty underground utility construction company operating in three divisions: Renewable Energy, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), and Rock Trenching. Our team works on projects throughout the western, southern, and midwestern United States.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze project scope and requirements by examining drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
  • Collaborate with engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accurate understanding, timelines, and competitive pricing.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including labor, equipment, materials, and overhead.
  • Oversee the bidding process, including proposal preparation and submission.
  • Lead preconstruction phases of projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in construction estimating and preconstruction management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a collaborative mindset.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Estimated Annual Salary: $90,000-$110,000 based on experience.
