Position Overview

The Project Site Manager will be tasked with:
  • Supporting contract and subcontract documentation, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of the Superintendent.
  • Verifying subcontractor layouts to ensure adherence to established control, line, and grade.
  • Tracking production rates and maintaining logs for future scheduling reference.
  • Keeping an updated set of production documents to provide a clear picture of ongoing work.
  • Reporting field conditions and issues to the Superintendent promptly.
  • Monitoring on-site job progress, ensuring compliance with contract documents and quality control standards.
  • Collaborating with the Superintendent to develop and implement project work plans and schedules.
  • Preparing documentation to assist in the project closeout process as directed by the Superintendent.
  • Coaching field engineers to enhance their professional development.

Qualifications for Success

The ideal candidate for the Project Site Manager role will possess:
  • 5-10+ years of experience in a supervisory capacity
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in commercial and/or multifamily projects is essential
  • Ground-up project experience is advantageous
  • Proven track record managing projects valued at $5M-$10M+
  • Strong communication skills for effective interaction with subcontractors and project teams
  • Adeptness in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • OSHA certification is required
