Position Overview
As a key member of our program management team, the Project Management Controls Specialist plays a crucial role in strategizing, planning, and executing projects that align with our clients' objectives. This position is integral to ensuring the successful delivery of projects through effective planning and execution.

Your Responsibilities
The Project Management Controls Specialist is tasked with monitoring project metrics, including costs, timelines, and resource allocation. This role involves:
  • Collaborating with Project Managers to implement cost control processes and tools.
  • Assisting in the planning and management of project budgets and schedules.
  • Identifying and mitigating risks that could affect project outcomes.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality control and documentation standards.

Key Duties
In this role, you will:
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of project scopes.
  • Participate actively in the development of project estimates, proposals, and schedules.
  • Maintain accurate and current project status reports, addressing issues and changes as they arise.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
  • Generate timely and insightful reports to support project management.
  • Work closely with the financial team to manage project invoicing and monitor budgets.

Financial Management
Assist in creating financial forecasts, risk registers, and customized cost control reports. Conduct financial performance analysis and prepare reports for clients.

Document Control
Manage project documentation, including RFI logs and correspondence logs, ensuring all records are accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced skills in Excel.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience in the A/E industry is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, or a related field.
