About the Role

Patterson is a value-added distributor that provides best-in-class products, services, and technology to the dental and animal health markets. We are seeking a highly skilled General Manager to lead our sales and internal operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate sales activities, market trends, and customer needs to optimize sales performance.
  • Develop and train the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Review and evaluate the work of direct reports to assess job performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Partner with the Operations Manager to create a customer-centric culture within the branch and identify process improvements to increase efficiency or reduce costs.
  • Participate in the selection process to determine personnel needs and ensure coverage on all jobs.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, management, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years of experience with a proven track record in sales, customer service, and asset management.
  • Strong business acumen, decision-making abilities, and a customer-focused mindset.
  • Ability to lead and develop a high-performing team and facilitate ongoing development.
  • General computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
