Job Description

Business Development Director

Publicis Media is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Director to join our team. As a key member of our US Growth Hub, you will be responsible for driving growth and development of our creative agencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in fielding and vetting new prospect calls and emails.
  • Conduct background research on prospective clients and agency competitors.
  • Work with the Chief Marketing Officer to help determine winning strategy, team casting, and commercial approach for each prospect/pitch assigned.
  • Lead the work with each pitch team to develop and refine the pitch deck content, coordinate leave-behind materials and any unique presentation/meeting needs.
  • Assist editorial writer in creating and cataloguing new business content, such as helping to write and gather assets for case studies, agency reels and videos, RFI/RFP responses, etc.
  • Work closely with public relations/communications personnel to ensure the agency story and voice carries through all public materials and lends to growth strategies.
  • Coordinate with presentation designers to ensure the proper look and feel is developed for the materials associated with each pitch.
  • Handle the operational intricacies and fast-moving nature of the process including setting up timelines, tracking the budget, communicating information to the team and managing the workflow.
  • Manage Business Development Account Executive.
  • Track and report new business wins and losses.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • You've got at least 10 years of experience in the ad industry and at least 2 in business development.
  • You know how to use Google Docs and Microsoft Office programs.
  • You've got a Bachelor's degree — ideally in marketing, communications, advertising or related field.
  • You're ready to roll up your sleeves and design beautiful solutions with some of the most driven people in the business.

  • Compensation Range: $115,500.00 - $194,500.00 annually.
