Job Overview

The Kate Farms Territory Manager plays a crucial role in planning, developing, and executing commercial initiatives to achieve or exceed sales targets set by the management team. This position requires a strong understanding of Kate Farms' products and services, as well as effective time management skills to visit customers and potential customers in the assigned territory.

Main Responsibilities
  • Achieve 100% of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Kate Farms' products and services.
  • Manage existing customers and acquire new customers in the assigned territory, including hospitals, outpatient clinics, home care, manufacturing partners, and distribution partners.
  • Plan and develop the market for existing and new products in accordance with company goals and objectives.
  • Drive demand for Kate Farms' products by attaining hospital formulary approvals, gaining exposure to healthcare providers, and driving brand preference and loyalty.
  • Provide ongoing technical training and support to customers.
  • Represent Kate Farms' values and integrity.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Sales, or Marketing.
  • A minimum of 5 years of recent sales or equivalent related work experience.
  • Registered Dietitian preferred.
  • Proactive attitude, initiative, and drive.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently.
  • Ability to demonstrate good common sense and sound judgment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to all situations and work varied hours.
  • Ability to anticipate work needs and follow through with minimum direction.
  • Outgoing, positive, and willing to contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
  • Superior negotiating and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Keen ability to listen and follow-up effectively and diplomatically with all staffing levels and customers.
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role include effectively handling lifting of various objects weighing up to 12 pounds, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and climbing stairs. The employee will also be required to sit at a computer for extended periods of time.

Work Environment

This position will work in a home/office environment with regular trips to medical offices, clinics, hospitals, and other meeting locations. The employee will be required to travel 50% of the time, with overnights throughout the assigned territory geography.

Compensation

The compensation for this role includes a base salary plus a variable component that together comprise the On-Target-Earnings (OTE). The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is $67,000 - $110,882 USD. The company also offers a range of benefits, including a company-matched 401k plan, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance plans, paid time off, and more.
