Discipleship and Formation Administrator Job Description
Overview
WestGate Church is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Discipleship and Formation Administrator to support the Discipleship and Formation Director and the broader staff and church body. This part-time role will provide exceptional ministry-related administrative assistance, ensuring the smooth execution of various programs and events.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Formation/Comm/Care pastors and directors, ensuring the efficient execution of their tasks and projects.
- Coordinate on-site and off-site Formation events/meetings from inception to completion, including booking accommodations, flight reservations, and meeting space preparation.
- Ensure pathway engagement tracking is accurate and updated, providing valuable insights for the leadership team.
- Assist group leaders with room booking and event support needs, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Attend and participate in team and staff meetings, staying informed and contributing to decision-making processes.
- Assist in database hygiene, management, and reporting, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of administrative experience, with a strong understanding of office procedures and software.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in document creation, data analysis, and presentations.
- A passion for Jesus and a commitment to living out His teachings, with a strong understanding of WestGate's theology, vision, and values.

Work Conditions
This role operates in a professional office or church environment, with standard equipment like computers, printers, and telephones. The ability to work in settings with various equipment, cables, stage lights, loud sounds, and visual stimuli is also required.
Salary
$26 per hour
