Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Air Quality Engineer to join our team in the TX Gulf Coast region. As a key member of our Capital Projects group, you will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of large-scale projects for industrial and municipal clients.

As an Air Quality Engineer at Geosyntec Consultants, you will apply your project management and engineering skills to provide services to our expanding capital project delivery practice. You will work closely with our team to plan and implement multidisciplinary projects, including site selection, front-end feasibility, conceptual and final design phases.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Task and project management, including planning and implementing multidisciplinary projects
  • Apply project management tools to conduct budgeting and budget management, ensure adherence to schedule, and enhance client satisfaction
  • Assist Client Manager and technical resource specialists as applicable to set, manage, and meet client expectations regarding project execution
  • Implement quality management practices to maintain work product quality
  • Engage and coordinate project resources and subcontractors to execute project work
  • Provide technical input and review of project deliverables
  • Support company and action group initiatives with respect to project execution and other applicable topics
  • Collaborate with others to identify, pursue, and develop new business opportunities as applicable

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (required)
  • Advanced degree in engineering (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain PE license in chemical or environmental engineering within 24 months of employment (preferred)
  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering and project management (required)
  • Strong background with applied process engineering (preferred)
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing businesses (preferred)
  • Experience in the development and approval of sales plans and tracking goals and metrics (required)
  • Experience managing large capital project development including managing multiple contracts across trades and engineering disciplines (required)
