Project Engineer Job Summary

Texas Air Products LTD is seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support our sales representatives and manage projects for our customers. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for all technical and engineering aspects of assigned projects, including developing a thorough understanding of our company products and applications, reviewing project plans and proposals, and preparing accurate estimates while maintaining low costs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of our company products and applications
  • Review and analyze project plans, proposals, and contractor bids
  • Prepare and submit RFIs and submittals
  • Assist with preparing accurate estimates while maintaining low costs
  • Study product design, customer requirements, and performance standards to determine project specifications
  • Interact and provide service to customers to interpret their needs and requirements
  • Collaborate and communicate with outside sales representatives to ensure project success
  • Order management of products
  • Coordinate product delivery and manage warranty and related field issues
  • Prepare O & M Manuals
  • Maintain our CRM and an organized electronic project filing system

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, Industrial Distribution, or a related technical field
  • 5 years of related work experience in Commercial Construction
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and continually strives for accuracy and quality
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Excellent time management skills with proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A team player with a positive attitude
  • Familiarity with Bluebeam
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
