Job Description

The Texas Education Agency (TEA) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Associate to join our team. As a key member of our Office of Analytics, Assessment, and Reporting, you will provide advanced administrative support to our team, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and disseminate Public Information Requests (PIRs) to ensure timely completion and adherence to Agency procedures.
  • Assist in the coordination of complex projects, including in-person and virtual-based initiatives, to ensure timely and successful completion.
  • Provide administrative support to multiple divisions within the office, including management of the physical office, travel arrangements, and internal communication systems.
  • Support key logistics, including management of the physical office, travel arrangements, and internal communication systems.
  • Train and supervise temporary staff as needed.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in complex administrative support work.
  • Demonstrated commitment to public service and TEA's mission.
  • Strong working knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures.
  • Ability to effectively interpret and apply Agency rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Outstanding customer service, communications, and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior prioritization and project and time management skills.
  • Emphasis on outcomes, quality, and efficiency.
