Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated HR Operations Coordinator for a contract role in Memphis, Tennessee. This position is integral to our client's human resources team and focuses on delivering exceptional service to both employees and management.

Key Responsibilities:

The HR Operations Coordinator will:

  • Primarily handle incoming calls and manage ticketing requests.
  • Provide guidance to managers and staff regarding employment laws, collective agreements, and compensation policies.
  • Evaluate job roles to determine classification and salary structures.
  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of personnel documentation and employee handbooks.
  • Compile reports, including organizational charts and career path analyses, to summarize job evaluations and compensation data.

This role is mostly remote, with the option to work from the office as needed. The standard shift is from 9 AM to 6 PM CST, with occasional adjustments based on workload.


Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 0-2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Strong preference for candidates with HR and customer service experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • The ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and hiring practices.
  • Familiarity with benefits and compensation systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

We are looking for someone who excels in customer service, enjoys engaging with callers, and is a quick learner. Experience with Workday is highly desirable.
