About the Job

The Human Resources Manager will play a key role in developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's global HR guidelines and local common practices. This includes working closely with employees, managers, and external vendors to deliver key HR projects and initiatives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Leadership Team and employees to address and resolve employee relations issues.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, OSHA, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
  • Manage and operate personnel administration and payroll processes according to local labor law.
  • Develop and implement local KPIs related to HR, personnel administration, and payroll processes.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees, managers, and supervisors on HR-related policies, benefits, and processes.
  • Plan and coordinate new hire onboarding functions, including background checks and pre-employment drug screens.
  • Recruit and select candidates based on global policies.
  • Coordinate key recruiting events, including print, online, and radio advertising.
  • Develop and facilitate training programs for leadership development, company policy, and employee benefits.
  • Implement and manage performance appraisals according to global policy.
  • Support the Regional HR Director in administering local reward group policies and procedures.
  • Manage and maintain all personnel files, including new hire documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate employee discipline and termination procedures.
  • Present necessary employee training, including sexual harassment and hostile workplace training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five to seven years of experience in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Professional certification (PHR, SPHR) strongly preferred.
  • Spanish language skills a plus.

Work Environment:

This role operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment. The individual will be required to adhere to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.

Physical Demands:

Limited physical demand may be required, including standing, walking, and occasionally moving or lifting material.

Travel:

Occasional overseas and domestic travel may be required to support the company's growth.
