About the Job

The Human Resources Manager plays a critical role in supporting the growth and success of Lincotek Medical by developing, implementing, and administering HR programs and initiatives that align with the company's global HR guidelines and local labor laws.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Partner with the Leadership Team and employees to address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date on employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, OSHA, and the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
  • Manage and operate personnel administration and payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor laws.
  • Develop and maintain local KPIs related to HR, personnel administration, and payroll processes, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Provide HR support to employees, managers, and supervisors, answering policy, benefit, and HR process-related questions.
  • Plan and coordinate new hire onboarding functions, including background checks, pre-employment drug screens, and documentation of W-4 and I-9 forms.
  • Recruit and select candidates based on global policies, ensuring a diverse and talented workforce.
  • Coordinate key recruiting events, including print, online, and radio advertising, candidate pre-screening activities, and interview scheduling.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support leadership development, company policy, and employee benefits.
  • Implement and manage performance appraisals according to global policy, ensuring fair and equitable evaluations.
  • Support the Regional HR Director in administering local reward group policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, including new hire documentation, benefit enrollment materials, and current employee records.
  • Coordinate employee discipline and termination procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and local laws.
  • Present necessary employee training, including sexual harassment and hostile workplace prevention.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Five to seven years of experience in Human Resources Management or a related field, with manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Professional certification (PHR, SPHR) is strongly preferred.
  • Spanish language skills are a plus.
Skills:
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with employees, vendors, managers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to develop and deploy effective recruiting strategies across multiple disciplines and organizational levels.
  • Experience in developing and facilitating training programs.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively through various mediums to all levels of the organization.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with concrete variables in non-standardized situations.
  • Excellent communication skills.
Work Environment:

This role operates in both an office environment and a manufacturing environment, requiring adherence to safety policies and procedures on the manufacturing floor.

Physical Demands:

This role requires limited physical demands, including standing, walking, and occasionally moving or lifting material.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, with business core hours of Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm. As an exempt employee, you will be required to work additional hours to support business demands.

Travel:

Occasional overseas and domestic travel may be required to support the rapid growth of the company.
