Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources professional to join our team at Ajax Distributing Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading all recruitment and on-boarding activities, ensuring all employees have a voice, and facilitating employee training and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with operations to assess human capital needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
  • Lead all recruitment and on-boarding activities, ensuring a seamless transition for new employees.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement and recognition programs to foster a positive work environment.
  • Facilitate employee training and development, including safety, professional development, and regulatory compliance.
  • Communicate human resource policies, procedures, laws, and standards to employees and management.
  • Coach employees and leadership through continuous improvement initiatives and provide technical support to the department and leadership team.
  • Develop and maintain EEO programs and recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Analyze HRIS records and compile reports to inform business decisions.
  • Participate in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Human Resources or related field.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
  • Professional certification desired.
  • High energy level and ability to perform multifaceted projects.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reasoning abilities, with sound judgment.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Resourceful and well-organized, with the ability to establish credibility and be decisive.
  • Results-oriented, with the ability to balance other business considerations.
