Sales Consultant for Builders

Hearth & Home Technologies is the premier distributor and retailer of fireplace products in North America, operating under the umbrella of HNI Corporation. Our team of over 400 dedicated professionals spans across multiple regions, states, and branches, ensuring we provide top-notch service and expertise in the hearth industry.
Your Role as a Sales Consultant for Builders
As a Sales Consultant, you will leverage our Hearth Expert Professional Builder Sales (HEPBS) framework and tools, including Key Account Plans (KAPs) and Key Account Business Reviews (KABRs), to meet and exceed sales objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Gaining a comprehensive understanding of our product offerings and Signature Installation process to deliver tailored recommendations.
2. Strategically managing account plans to enhance sales opportunities through both new business development and existing account growth.
3. Building and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers across various levels within each account.
Qualifications for Success
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in sales, business administration, marketing, or a related field (a 2-year vocational/technical degree is acceptable).
- A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
- Self-motivation and the ability to excel in an independent work setting.
- Strong communication skills and exceptional organizational abilities.
