**Job Title:** High-Performance Computing Expert
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced High-Performance Computing Expert to join our team at Applied Research Associates (ARA). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and applying cutting-edge high-performance computing software and network architectures to support the Navy in the development of next-generation computing standards, architectures, and applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement high-performance computing software and network architectures to support the Navy's computing needs.
- Collaborate with Navy and other contractor personnel to develop next-generation computing standards, architectures, and applications.
- Design and implement large-scale enterprise IT networks and systems.
- Configure and support services with Apache, sendmail, BIND, ssh, and DNS.
- Experience with Unix systems, including Solaris, Redhat, Suse, and Rocky.
- Experience with configuring and troubleshooting bgp, ospf, VPN, IPSec, Ethernet, and ATM.
- Experience with broadband optimization, baseband, and fiber optic LANs.
- Proficiency in the use of signal generators, spectrum analyzers, signal analysis meters, time domain reflectometers (TDR), and cable scanners.
- Experience with integration and use of security tools and vulnerability analysis tools, including ISS, NetRanger, nmap, or similar.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or system engineering, and 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or system engineering, and 2+ years of relevant experience.
- DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or system engineering.
- Experience in support of ONR or NRL.
