Job Description:

Collaboredge Inc is seeking a skilled Computer Operator to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and operating computer systems, resolving hardware and software issues, and ensuring the security of our networked systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage computer systems to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Resolve hardware and software issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Investigate and address security threats to our networked systems.
  • Ensure that personnel have proper clearance to access classified processing areas.
  • Perform game closing and IT draw operations, including verifying winning numbers and updating reports.
  • Process and balance financial reports, and communicate any issues to systems and network engineers.
  • Update multistate lottery association and draw reporting systems with sales and winning numbers.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to gaming systems vendor and IT specialists.
  • Execute and monitor daily data warehousing program.
  • Conduct preliminary IT inquiries and issue tracking for users.
  • Maintain asset inventory for Lottery IT department.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Extensive knowledge of computer operating systems and network file systems.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and operating features of a personal computer.
  • General knowledge of File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
  • Ability to maintain accuracy in performing repetitive work.
  • Experience in Information Technology environment on Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Knowledge necessary to diagnose and solve simple computer system problems.

Skills:

  • Extensive knowledge of computer operating systems.
  • General knowledge of File Transfer Protocol (FTP) and Virtual Private Networks (VPN).
  • Knowledge of network file system and USB file transfers.
  • Experience in Information Technology environment on Microsoft Windows environment.
