Culinary Leadership Opportunity
Firebirds Wood Fired Grill is seeking a talented Restaurant Culinary Director to lead our culinary team and drive menu innovation.
About the Role
The Restaurant Culinary Director will oversee all aspects of culinary operations, including menu development, kitchen management, and staff supervision. This individual will also be responsible for maintaining high-quality food production, ensuring efficient kitchen operations, and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement menus that showcase bold flavors and classic American cuisine
- Manage back-of-house team members, operations, and food production for the restaurant and FIREBAR
- Train and develop Sous Chefs and other kitchen staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations
- Cross-train team members to improve their kitchen knowledge and skills
- Supervise butchering and portion control on each shift
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment
- Responsible for ordering produce, seafood, and main food orders
- Conduct inventory bi-weekly in a team effort
About You
To succeed in this role, you should have 2+ years of high-volume, full-service restaurant experience as an Executive Chef or similar position. You must possess excellent communication skills, ability to remain calm under pressure, and self-discipline with a professional appearance. Butchering experience is required, and scratch kitchen experience is preferred.
What We Offer
- $65,000 - $75,000 per year (depending on experience)
