Automationtechies is a prominent player in the field of instrumentation, process control, calibration, and metrology. We are currently in search of a seasoned sales executive to manage an established client base within a designated territory.

Role Overview

The Sales Executive will be instrumental in addressing the needs of our clients by leveraging a comprehensive range of products and services across various business units. This position is pivotal in fostering enduring and mutually advantageous relationships with clients, ultimately driving revenue growth for both the clients and Automationtechies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all phases of the sales cycle, collaborating with team members to develop tailored solutions, and managing the sales process from lead generation to closing.
  • Engage in negotiations with clients and suppliers to deliver competitive and profitable proposals.
  • Drive business development initiatives within the assigned territory.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to build trust and loyalty.
  • Educate clients about the company's value-added services to enhance account development.
  • Provide clients with comprehensive information regarding product solutions, pricing, and availability.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proactively identify solutions and revenue opportunities to better serve our clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions in the CRM system.
  • Manage client expectations effectively and ensure follow-through on commitments.
  • Participate in training sessions and team meetings as required.
  • Assist in onboarding and training new team members as necessary.
  • Ensure quality in all aspects of customer relations.
  • Foster a positive working relationship with our partners and vendors.
  • Connect with OEM suppliers to enhance customer solutions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in industrial sectors, including but not limited to oil & gas, chemical & refining, power generation, and wastewater management.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience in electrical and control products.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and marketing of instrumentation and process equipment.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategic account management and development.
  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new accounts and entering new markets.
  • Experience in technical proposal development.
  • Strong consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient written communication and presentation skills.
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, confident, and persistent.

Physical Requirements

  • Primarily sedentary work at a computer, in meetings, or while traveling.
  • Occasional lifting of demonstration items or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Work primarily indoors with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Some walking within industrial facilities.
  • Frequent use of computers and telephones.
  • Ability to drive for extended periods.

Note: The annual base salary range for this position is provided as a guideline. The final salary offer will be determined based on various factors including work experience, education, key skills, and other considerations.
