Position Summary:The Procurement Administrative Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the Purchasing & Estimating department. This position is responsible for assisting in the upkeep of cost and sales pricing data, as well as contributing to the formulation of housing budgets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and organizing cost and pricing information for community specifications and standard options.
- Gathering and organizing necessary documentation to facilitate the construction permit process, which may involve travel to various municipalities for document submission.
- Compiling, verifying, and updating costing data for entry into the estimating system.
- Supporting the costing team with utility applications and impact fee payments.
- Processing bids from subcontractors.
The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma along with foundational academic and practical skills acquired through education and at least one year of relevant work experience or training. A general understanding of administrative tasks and office operations is essential.
Proficiency in office software, including word processing, estimating, and spreadsheet applications, is required. This role is set within a typical office environment.
