Explore our comprehensive benefits package below.

As a proud member of the Rentokil family, a global leader in pest management and related services, we operate in over 90 countries. We are dedicated to being a reliable partner for many of the world's top brands, serving both consumer and business clients across various sectors. Our commitment to excellence drives us to fulfill our mission: "protecting people, enhancing lives, and preserving the planet."

Are you intrigued by the idea of tackling pest challenges while ensuring customer satisfaction?

We might have the perfect opportunity for you.

Addressing pest issues comes with its perks. We provide a company vehicle, fuel, and mobile phone. Our benefits include a 401(k) plan with company matching. But it’s more than just that; it’s about delivering service with a smile, supporting your colleagues, and making a meaningful impact. We step in when our clients face challenges they cannot resolve on their own, alleviating their pest concerns and uplifting their spirits.

Now, let’s talk about you. Are you diligent and able to follow instructions? Can you adapt to new situations and solve problems effectively? Are you organized, personable, and driven to achieve success? If so, you’re off to a great start.

As a Pest Control Technician, here’s what you can anticipate:
  • You won’t be confined to an office. You’ll be active and independent, advancing your career with clear pathways for growth. You will represent our company in your local area, and your clients will rely on you to safeguard their properties and loved ones.
  • Initially, you will undergo a training period lasting several months. Once you have acquired the necessary state licenses and certifications, you will take charge of your own client base.
  • You will receive competitive compensation and a robust benefits package to support you and your family. As a team member, you will qualify for a 401(k) with company matching, life insurance, tuition reimbursement, and a generous student loan repayment program. Your hard work will be rewarded.
  • You will be part of a community—bonus points if you are already a leader in yours. Our connections at our company are strong, and the relationships we cultivate in the communities we serve are exceptional. Our team members give back through volunteering, donations, scholarships, and more.
  • You will receive onboarding and training from the best in the field. You will be compensated while obtaining your licenses, which will benefit you for a lifetime. You’ll also learn how to manage pest issues in your own home.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing to learn how we serve our customers. You will become proficient in applying our products safely and effectively.
  • Are you a skilled driver? As a technician, your workspace will be the cab of your company vehicle, which you will use for client visits and take home as well. The same applies to your company phone. We trust our technicians.
  • You will build relationships with clients, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to existing customers, and expand our services to new clients.
  • Are you comfortable with technology? That’s alright. We provide training and support to ensure you are proficient with modern tools. Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction through various channels, including email and phone. Additionally, there will be some paperwork involved.
  • There is potential for you to grow into a role that aligns with your passions and skills—whether that’s in management, sales, or another opportunity within our organization.
Essential qualifications include:

To be considered for the Pest Control Technician position, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or GED; or one to three months of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively in various settings.
  • Basic math skills—addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. You must be able to follow instructions for mixing products as indicated on labels.
  • With the support of our company (and with us covering the costs), you will need to maintain the necessary licenses and certifications as mandated by federal, state, and/or local regulations. A valid driver’s license is also required.
Physical demands of the role:

This position has physical requirements (reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities). Here’s what to expect:

  • You should be able to regularly lift up to 10 lbs. and frequently handle 11–20 lbs., whether that involves lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects.
  • You will be active—frequently sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. You will navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles, and maintain balance while walking, standing, or crouching on narrow or slippery surfaces.
  • You must be capable of safely operating a motor vehicle and ensuring it and all equipment are kept clean.
  • Good vision is necessary for detail-oriented tasks at close distances.
  • You may need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), such as an OSHA-compliant respirator, and be comfortable working in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
Work environment:

Pests often inhabit less-than-ideal locations, and that’s where we operate. Rest assured, we will equip you with everything necessary to perform your duties safely and comfortably.

  • You will need to work both indoors and outdoors in your local climate, utilizing company-provided weather gear.
  • Occasionally, you will be around mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical currents, heights, fumes, dust, and chemicals. We will train you on how to handle these conditions safely.
  • You will encounter animals and insects as part of your work.
  • You should be comfortable working in tight spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways, similar to those found in crawl spaces.

To be part of our team, you must meet state and federal regulations and adhere to company safety standards.
