Position Overview

This role offers a starting wage of $11 per hour.

The Retail Operations Associate plays a vital role in supporting the management team to achieve the operational objectives of the retail outlet by performing various tasks throughout the store.

The positions that the Retail Operations Associate may be required to learn and execute include:

  • Cashier: Responsible for processing customer transactions, ensuring a balanced cash drawer, and adhering to all cash handling protocols.
  • Textiles or Wares Specialist: Engages in sorting items to assess quality and value, checking for defects, and properly tagging and hanging merchandise.
  • Donation Door Attendant: Welcomes donations from customers while maintaining a tidy donation area and efficiently sorting products.
  • eCommerce Specialist: Identifies valuable items for online sales and ensures proper inventory management for eCommerce operations.
  • e-Books Specialist: Evaluates incoming books to determine their suitability for online sales or in-store display.
  • Rack and Cart Runner: Ensures the sales floor is organized and well-stocked by managing racks and carts effectively.
Key Responsibilities

Cashier Duties:
Process customer orders, maintain cash drawer accuracy, and provide information about programs.

Textiles or Wares Duties:
Sort and assess product quality, ensuring adherence to pricing standards and production tracking.

Donation Door Duties:
Manage donations, maintain organization in the backroom, and assist with loading and unloading as needed.

eCommerce Duties:
Stay informed about market values and manage the packing and shipping of items for online sales.

e-Books Duties:
Scan and evaluate books for online sales, managing inventory and displays effectively.

Rack and Cart Duties:
Ensure quality control on the sales floor and maintain cleanliness and organization.
