The Client Support Specialist plays a crucial role in managing tasks related to order fulfillment, inventory oversight, troubleshooting, and communication with both internal and external clients. This role demands proficiency in Microsoft Excel and prior experience in a customer service environment, particularly within a call center setting.
- Act as the primary internal contact for order management and related inquiries
- Assist with various special projects as needed
- Handle incoming emails from diverse internal departments
- Ensure accurate processing of incoming inventory, including item setup validation and communication with the warehouse
- Oversee exception reporting from start to finish, including report generation, item coding, stakeholder follow-up, and problem-solving to mitigate exceptions
- Prioritize orders and projects, including the swift handling of urgent requests
- Compile and distribute various reports to meet daily operational requirements
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- 1-2 years of experience in customer service, reporting, or purchase order management
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Familiarity with AS400 or similar database systems is preferred
