Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategy
- Develop and implement short- and long-term goals to drive revenue cycle performance.
- Lead the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with state and federal laws.
- Identify and recommend changes based on new regulations to maintain a competitive edge.
- Operational Excellence
- Integrate new facilities into company systems and train teams on billing processes to ensure seamless transitions.
- Collaborate with the General Ledger accounting team to ensure timely and accurate month-end closes and revenue capture.
- Oversee new hire training to ensure it is fully developed and implemented, resulting in a high-performing team.
- Performance Monitoring and Improvement
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), aging reports, and company goals to drive improvements and set team priorities.
- Partner with other departments to develop reports and KPIs to inform business decisions.
- Supervise claims submission and processing to minimize denials and optimize reimbursement.
- Financial Management
- Manage costs and adhere to departmental budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility.
- Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders to inform business decisions.
- Professional Development
- Evaluate and implement new revenue cycle software and tools to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Stay up-to-date on changes in healthcare reimbursement policies and adjust processes accordingly to maintain compliance.
- 7+ years of healthcare experience, with a preference for those experienced in pharmacy revenue cycle management.
- CPA or MBA is a plus.
We offer a competitive salary range of $150,000.00 to $175,000.00 per year, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
