Mechanical Oversight:
Manage and ensure the functionality of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, elevator, and surveillance systems.
Structural Maintenance:
Keep the integrity of walls, windows, doors, flooring, and fixtures to maintain a welcoming environment.
Equipment Management:
Oversee the usage and maintenance of tools, grounds care equipment, vehicles, and other machinery.
Grounds Maintenance:
Supervise the upkeep of lawns, gardens, fencing, and paved areas to ensure a pleasant outdoor space.
Security Management:
Act as the primary contact for security, ensuring the safety of the facility and its surroundings.
Vendor Coordination:
Liaise with maintenance and repair vendors, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate necessary work.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor volunteers and staff involved in maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
Experience:
A minimum of two years in a supervisory capacity and five years in building trades, including mechanical, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, and small gas engine skills.
Technical Proficiency:
Familiarity with computer systems, particularly the Google platform and CAD software.
