Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Native American Connections. As a Patient Services Representative, you will provide exceptional administrative support and coordination for all aspects of integrated care, both behavioral health and medical.

Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical and administrative support for patient intake, prior authorization, and other related tasks.
  • Assist with patient information, form completion, and insurance verification for all appointments.
  • Perform general office duties, including mail, fax, file, copy, and office supply management.
  • Set appointments for clients and ensure accurate logging in the electronic health record.
  • Follow up on missed appointments and re-engage patients as needed.
  • Document patient information in the EHR promptly and accurately.
  • Communicate with outside agencies for referral information and other assistance.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive reputation for Native American Connections.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Electronic Medical Record experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical and/or behavioral health office setting.
  • Knowledgeable about the economic, educational, and social problems of Native Americans and referral sources available.
  • Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
  • CPR/First Aid Certificate within 90 days of hire.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.
  • MS Office proficiency.
  • Bilingual (Spanish desired).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with the Native American population.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, supervisors, and vendors.
