This is an Onsite Role.

Position Summary:
The mission of IMS People is to enhance civic engagement and ensure the integrity of the electoral process. The Voting Operations Coordinator will be a key member of the Elections team, responsible for facilitating the smooth and accurate execution of election procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
The Voting Operations Coordinator will support the Director and Deputy Director of Elections with various tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Responding promptly to public inquiries through various communication channels.
  • Entering data related to mail ballots and other election information.
  • Assisting in the editing of ballots, forms, guides, and all election-related materials.
  • Preparing mail ballot packages for local election boards.
  • Assisting in the processing of mail ballots.
  • Handling public information requests regarding election-related matters.
  • Supporting local election boards in fulfilling their responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate inclusively and prioritize tasks effectively. The candidate should be capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and maintaining composure under pressure. Strong customer service skills and a valid driver's license are essential.

Preferred Qualifications:
A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred, along with experience in election administration. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is also desirable.
