Position Summary:
The Hilton Garden Inn of Morgantown, WV is strategically situated in a vibrant area, offering easy access to various amenities. We are seeking a dedicated Full-Time Front Desk Agent with a welcoming demeanor to enhance our guest experience.

Compensation: $13.00 per hour

Benefits Overview:
Full-Time Associates are entitled to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k), paid time off, and additional employee discounts through our HR-provider LL Roberts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes while addressing inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
  • Facilitate guest registration and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever feasible.
  • Pre-register, block reservations, and process same-day bookings while adhering to pricing structures and promotional strategies.
  • Handle customer complaints and assist with inquiries related to hotel services, events, local attractions, and more.
  • Process cancellations and manage room reservations in accordance with established procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization during downtime.
  • Comply with Hilton brand standards and participate in training programs.
  • Gain insights into housekeeping operations to understand guest room preparation.
  • Assist with laundry duties as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
In addition to the primary functions, this role may involve:
  • Inventory management of guest room keys and request re-keying as necessary.
  • Support in housekeeping, lobby, laundry, and public areas during peak times or staff shortages.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hotel front desk role is preferred.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction effectively.
  • Capability to manage challenging customer interactions and respond promptly to their needs.
