POSITION SUMMARY
Act as a vital resource for all leisure activities conducted on the premises. Provide guests with information regarding available recreational amenities, which may encompass swimming pools, beach areas, entertainment zones, fitness facilities, and children's activity centers. Encourage, recruit, register, and schedule guests for participation in recreational programs. Foster a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for all visitors. Uphold the rules and regulations of the recreational facilities to ensure the safety and well-being of guests and members. Monitor activities within the recreational areas and respond appropriately according to local operating procedures in case of emergencies. Provide cashier services when operating in facilities that involve point of sale transactions. Assist in hosting private events within the recreational areas, coordinating group activities and functions. Be vigilant for situations where guests may not be able to safely engage in activities and inform supervisors as necessary. Render assistance to injured guests until emergency medical services arrive. Maintain cleanliness and organization of recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
Report incidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications. Adhere to company policies and procedures; ensure that uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; safeguard company assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; express gratitude to guests with genuine appreciation. Communicate with others using clear and professional language; answer telephones with appropriate etiquette. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues; support the team in achieving common objectives. Process payments for rental equipment, recreational activities, facility rentals, or retail sales. Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards. Read and visually verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Inspect tools, equipment, or machines visually (e.g., to identify defects). Enter and locate work-related information using computers and/or point of sale systems. Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods or throughout an entire work shift. Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and heavier objects with assistance. Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Navigate through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces. Traverse sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces as well as stairs and/or service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: No related work experience required.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: CPR Certification
First Aid Certification
Recreation Equipment Certification
Any certification or training mandated by local and state agencies.
