Job Summary

The Strategic Account Associate plays a vital role in the management of operations for multiple association clients, supporting efforts relating to strategy, operations, membership, communications, conferences and meetings, and financial oversight.

Key Responsibilities
  • Board and Committee Support
    • Supports senior leadership in providing guidance to and interacting with the Board of Directors and committees
    • Attends meetings and prepares agendas and minutes as necessary
  • Member Programs and Services
    • Collaborates with senior management in implementing programs and campaigns to attract new members and/or subscribers
    • Identifies and develops new programs and benefits to meet the evolving needs of members
    • Responsible for member recruitment and retention
  • Conference and Meeting Management
    • Assists in coordinating logistics for conferences, meetings, registrations, and events
    • Supports conference planning in implementing a detailed project plan, and provides assistance in the coordination of marketing, speakers, and onsite professional technical support vendors
  • Financial Oversight
    • Monitors compliance with association contracts and assists in negotiating renewals

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communication, human resources, finance, or other related discipline
  • 2 to 4 years' experience in a similar capacity
  • Polished communication skills, both written and verbal, and interpersonal skills, including conflict resolution
  • Strong computer skills with proficiency in spreadsheet, word-processing, database, and presentation software applications
  • Ability to interface with executive leadership, establish credibility, and build effective relationships
Working Conditions

This position operates within an office environment. The physical demands outlined below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully fulfill the essential functions of the job.
