Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process weekly payroll for hourly team members, semi-monthly for managers, and monthly for the sales team using Paycor for payroll processing and CDK for accounting.
  • Benefits Administration: Administer self-insured benefits plans, manage open enrollment, and address employee benefits questions.
  • HR Compliance: Maintain a basic understanding of payroll and benefits regulations to ensure compliance and assist with reporting and auditing to support internal controls and compliance requirements.
  • Projects and HR Support: Assist with various HR projects, including converting manual new-hire forms to an electronic system and contribute to improving payroll processes and supporting HR initiatives that drive organizational success.

Requirements:

  • Prior payroll experience, preferably in a payroll accounting role.
  • Familiarity with self-insured benefit plans and experience administering employee benefits.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to handle potentially difficult conversations.
  • Stable job history and a long-term fit with opportunities for career growth within the organization.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Salary range: $55K - $65K based on experience.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401(k) with 2% match, AD&D, STD, LTD, and HSA with a monthly company contribution.
