Maintenance Coordinator Job Description

The Maintenance Coordinator is a key member of our property operations team, responsible for overseeing all incoming work order requests, distributing them to maintenance technicians, and following up on completion of all jobs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders
  • Monitor work order timing to ensure completion as per SSOPs
  • Follow up with residents regarding satisfaction of completed jobs
  • Assist Maintenance Supervisor with monitoring daily activities of the maintenance team
  • Coordinate capital projects by scheduling contractor visits and obtaining needed quotes
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to five years related experience and/or training
  • Strong customer service experience required
  • Ability to organize and coordinate work efficiently, and set priorities
