Role Summary:

The Stock Management Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring precise inventory levels and enhancing inventory management processes at our Flower Mound, TX facility. This position is essential for the smooth operation of our supply chain and VMI services, enabling us to consistently fulfill our customers' requirements.

Key Duties:

  • Oversee and maintain precise inventory levels across all product lines.
  • Perform regular inventory assessments and cycle counts to ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to anticipate demand and place timely orders.
  • Examine inventory patterns and modify reorder thresholds to prevent stock shortages and excess inventory.
  • Utilize inventory management systems to monitor stock movements, update records, and generate analytical reports.
  • Address discrepancies between physical counts and system records, implementing corrective measures as necessary.
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
  • Assist in formulating and executing inventory control protocols and best practices.
  • Support ongoing improvement initiatives to optimize inventory processes and minimize costs.
  • Contribute significantly to managing the VMI program at this site, ensuring timely and accurate inventory replenishment.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • Strong grasp of inventory management principles and practices, with VMI experience being advantageous.
  • Proficient in inventory management software (experience with ERP systems is a plus).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and robust organizational abilities.
  • Capability to analyze data, recognize trends, and make informed decisions.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related discipline.
