Trust Client Services Specialist

As a Trust Client Services Specialist at First American, you will play a vital role in the administration of trust accounts and provide sales support within Wealth Management. This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with sales and portfolio business divisions, industry vendors, and private wealth clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Trust Officers in managing assets and accounts, ensuring accurate and timely administration.
- Act as the primary contact for customers with large and complex accounts, providing exceptional customer service and support.
- Prepare and participate in court appearances and audits, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
- Collect assets and set up accounts, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor investment activities, providing guidance and support to clients as needed.
- Assist managers and supervisors with Trust client escalation calls, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Take calls from the inbound Wealth Management general line, following up on incoming sales leads and providing support to clients.
- Maintain accurate customer database by creating and updating customer profiles in Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Assist on company projects related to the management of Salesforce and Docusign, contributing to the development and implementation of new processes and procedures.
- Perform additional tasks related to the efficient administration of trust accounts, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional client service.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4-7 years of related experience, with a strong background in trust administration and customer service.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and self-starter, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly to emergent problems, with a focus on delivering exceptional results and exceeding client expectations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
