About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Control Officer to join our Trust and Agency Services team at Deutsche Bank AG. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective implementation of our risk management framework and driving the adoption of operating control ownership by our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of our risk management framework, working closely with our Global Head of Business Control.
  • Provide independent challenge to our Business Management to protect against adverse non-financial risks.
  • Contribute to the Divisional Control Office's global agenda projects and initiatives to continue evolving our non-financial risk practice.
  • Partner with our operations team on projects, client issues, and support monthly update reporting and participate in meetings between the groups.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in non-financial risk management, or related roles, in financial services with audit experience a plus.
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders and advise on potential risk reduction initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage key priorities and clearly articulate where dependency or roadblocks exist.
  • Proactively engage with key stakeholders to drive execution of short- and long-term engagements (self-starter).
  • Good knowledge of securities industry and trust & agency products scope.
