About The Role
We are in search of an innovative Platform Operations Manager to oversee our Closing and Post-Closing operations. This position combines strategic leadership with hands-on management of third-party fulfillment partners to guarantee efficient and compliant loan closing and post-closing processes while refining systems and workflows for high-quality, scalable operations.

Your role will be pivotal in defining the future of our platform, developing workflows, standard operating procedures, and quality control measures for closing and post-closing operations. You will provide tactical direction to engineering teams, focusing on scalable and automated solutions.

About You
You possess expert-level knowledge of the entire mortgage closing and post-closing process, including a comprehensive understanding of loan requirements and federal, state, and regulatory guidelines pertinent to residential mortgage lending. You are a visionary leader with a strong perspective on constructing scalable, modular infrastructure for closing and post-closing.

Comfortable in a highly regulated environment, you prioritize performance while adhering to compliance standards. You are dedicated to customer success, building solutions that meet the needs of our clients and their borrowers.

You maintain a software-first approach, addressing operational challenges with long-term solutions in mind. You excel at managing multiple third-party fulfillment partners, ensuring timely and high-quality closings while fostering strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement workflows, SOPs, SLAs, checklists, and quality control measures to ensure efficient loan closing and delivery.
- Regularly assess and enhance our systems to ensure smooth file flow, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily operations with fulfillment partners, ensuring consistent loan delivery and closing.
- Define and monitor productivity standards and performance goals, ensuring they are met consistently.
- Conduct second-level reviews, manage exceptions, and ensure quality control for timely loan funding.
- Take a proactive approach in managing the pipeline, troubleshooting issues to ensure seamless closings.
- Collaborate with loan officers to identify and resolve any closing or post-closing challenges.
- Act as a subject matter expert, facilitating decision-making and driving product enhancements.
- Provide training on technical guidelines and recommend areas for improvement.

Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in closing and post-closing processes, managing diverse loan types including Conventional, Jumbo, NON-QM, and GOVT loans.
- Proven experience in developing workflows, training materials, SOPs, SLAs, and quality control measures.
- Proficiency in configuring systems for efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Experience in managing decentralized teams and strategic third-party fulfillment partners.
- Background in mortgage products within a fintech environment is highly desirable.
