About the Role

As a Chief of Staff to our CEO, Trent Hedge, you'll play a pivotal role in scaling Pylon. This is a unique opportunity for a high-performing individual to drive strategic growth and operational excellence.

We're looking for a seasoned professional with a track record of organizational excellence, who can take pride in how organized they are. You'll be responsible for running special projects, assisting with recruiting and onboarding, helping drive and measure company performance, keeping us organized, and managing the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Run Special Projects: You'll be assigned to complex and time-sensitive projects across the business. If they require an ongoing person to lead them, you'll build the V1 playbook and hire them.
  • Assist with Recruiting and Onboarding: You'll be responsible for scaling talent acquisition while maintaining a high bar. The team we build is the company we build.
  • Help Drive and Measure Company Performance: You'll work with our CEO to define and track initiatives across the company to ensure we are focused and performing at our best.
  • Keep Us Organized: You'll ensure the trains are running on time and provide leverage to our CEO. You'll ensure we are prompt and consistent in our internal and external communication.
  • Manage the Office: You'll make sure everyone on the team has what they need (laptops, food in the fridge, etc) to do their best work.
Requirements
  • 3-5+ years of experience in a Chief of Staff, business operations, investment banking, or management consulting role.
  • Financial modeling and SQL skills for analysis and building internal tools/dashboards.
  • Interest in fintech.
  • Bonus points if you've worked at a startup.
