Role Overview
We are in search of a dynamic Platform Operations Manager who will take charge of both strategic oversight and hands-on management of third-party fulfillment providers. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient and compliant loan processing while improving systems and workflows for scalable operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement processing workflows, SOPs, SLAs, checklists, and QC measures to guarantee high-quality and efficient loan processing.
- Regularly assess and enhance our processing systems to ensure smooth file flow, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
- Oversee daily operations with fulfillment partners, ensuring consistent loan processing and timely loan delivery.
- Collaborate closely with underwriters and other stakeholders to restructure loans as necessary to meet client needs and facilitate smooth processing.
- Engage actively in resolving complex files, providing direct support to address issues and expedite processing for timely loan closings.
- Define and monitor productivity standards and performance goals, ensuring they are met consistently.
- Communicate proactively about trends in loan files and software usability.
- Conduct second-level reviews, manage exceptions, and handle escalations to ensure quality control.
- Serve as a subject matter expert, aiding decision-making and driving product improvements.
- Work in tandem with internal teams, partners, and engineering to optimize the fulfillment infrastructure.
- Provide technical training materials, recommend areas for improvement, and conduct ongoing training as needed.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of mortgage processing regulations to ensure compliance.

Candidate Profile
- 10+ years of experience in loan processing and managing processing teams across various loan types, including Conventional, Jumbo, NON-QM, and GOVT across purchase and refinance.
- Proven experience in developing processing workflows, SOPs, SLAs, and QC measures.
- Proficiency in configuring processing systems for enhanced efficiency, quality, and compliance.
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading decentralized teams.
- Experience in overseeing strategic third-party fulfillment partners.
- Background in mortgage products within a fintech environment is highly preferred.
