Civil Engineering Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team at SMRT Inc. As a key member of our Civil Engineering group, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality civil engineering services to public and private clients across various markets.
In this role, you will oversee the organization and management of civil engineering design tasks, ensuring timely completion and meeting client expectations. You will also direct the preparation of specifications, cost estimates, construction drawings, and bid packages, as well as develop project design schedules that incorporate civil engineering services.
Your expertise in site master planning, design, construction administration, and land use permitting will be invaluable in driving our success. We offer a flexible work environment, competitive salary ($145,000 - $180,000 per year), and comprehensive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide civil engineering services for public and private clients in multiple markets.
- Organize and manage civil engineering design tasks for projects from preliminary to final design.
- Direct the preparation of specifications, cost estimates, construction drawings, and bid packages.
- Develop project design schedules that incorporate civil engineering services including design and permitting.
Requirements:
- Minimum 18 years of site design, master planning and civil engineering experience.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) license, with the ability to acquire licenses in multiple states.
