Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Product Marketing Manager to join our team at Legrand North and Central America. As a key member of our Building Control Systems Division, you will be responsible for developing and implementing product line strategic plans, driving product development, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute product line strategic plans in conjunction with stakeholders, including product management, sales, and services functions.
  • Drive product development phases of new product introductions, collaborating closely with Product Managers and engineering teams.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer needs and develop product positioning that resonates with them, supporting sales teams' success.
  • Understand market problems and guide new product requirements or enhancements to product lines, developing associated buyer/user personas.
  • Stay up-to-date on the competitive landscape and position BCS's offer to win in the market.
  • Define and help develop distinctive competencies necessary to maintain a clear leadership position.
  • Develop business/investment plans to gain senior management approval for product line development funding.
  • Manage costs and GM (Pricing) in conjunction with Product Managers and Sales Management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a technical field.
  • MBA preferred.
  • 7+ years of experience in product management, with experience in a company known for channel and/or innovation capabilities a plus.
