Job Summary

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to assist with various departmental functions, including sales order entry, contracts, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enter, maintain, and bill commercial sales and purchase orders.
  • Collaborate with salesmen and operations teams for timeliness and accuracy of sales orders entered.
  • Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and customers after, during, and after the sale.
  • Follow-up on all projects, keeping track of relevant details and moving on action points.
  • Prepare for and participate in meetings including department backlog, COD, and sales.
  • Contract processing: including tracking of contracts, pay applications, sub-contractor process, lien waivers, warranties, O&Ms, and revenue recognition.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service with internal and external customers.
  • Cross-train with other departments to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Provide daily phone backup and entering customer service orders accurately.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years working within an ERP software system.
  • Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced work environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two or more years of sales order entry, billing, and customer service experience.
  • Possess excellent assessment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be the primary point of contact for all related sales order and billing activities.
  • Compile and prepare bid packages and proposals.
