Job Summary:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical interpretation and solutions in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures. You will troubleshoot system hardware and software specific issues, train end users on the proper use of hardware and software, and perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages. Additionally, you will monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels, ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions, and conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical interpretation and solutions in the management of networks, software, hardware, configurations, and architectures.
  • Troubleshoot system hardware and software specific issues.
  • Train end users on the proper use of hardware and software.
  • Perform software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages.
  • Monitor and tune the system to achieve optimum performance levels.
  • Ensure workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions.
  • Conduct hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines.

Requirements:
  • BA/BS (or equivalent experience)
  • 2+ years of experience
  • Active Secret clearance required
