Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Military Requirements Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Requirements Development & Acquisition Support Team, you will play a critical role in supporting senior decision makers and helping to ensure the Navy's submarine programs have the capabilities needed to execute challenging maritime operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior Navy leadership to advise on policy and requirements development, planning, and implementation.
  • Develop and submit materials required to support the Navy's programs of record, including inputs for congressional testimony, requirements documents, technical papers, and budget exhibits.
  • Prepare executive-level reports and briefs.
  • Interface with technical team leaders to exchange information and coordinate related task performance.
  • Mentor junior personnel as a subject matter expert in the areas of assigned work.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of relevant experience (or 5+ years with an advanced degree and specific submarine operational experience)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Active SECRET US Government Clearance (US Citizenship required)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree or Doctorate
  • Service or Joint Staff Requirements Officer experience
  • Operations Analysis expertise
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products: Visio, Project, and Access
  • Certified Enterprise Architecture Expertise
  • Active Top-Secret US Government Clearance with SCI Eligibility (US Citizenship required)

  • Washington Navy Yard
  • Pentagon

Salary Range: $160,000.00 - $185,000.00 (determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities)
