Job Description

Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual for the position of Technical Support Specialist II.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to end-users on a variety of issues, including software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Identify, research, and resolve technical problems in a timely manner.
  • Respond to telephone calls, emails, and personnel requests for technical support.
  • Document and track problems to ensure timely resolution.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
  • Must meet position and certification requirements outlined in DoD Directives for Information Assurance Technician Level 2 within six months of hire.

Security Requirements:

  • Current Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
  • Eligibility for access to Special Access Programs.
  • Willingness to submit to a Counterintelligence Polygraph.

Skills:

  • Familiarity with security policy and manuals.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment and interact with DOD, military, and civilian personnel.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • High degree of originality, creativity, and initiative.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires employees to be willing and able to sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

Communication:

Excellent customer service via phone and face-to-face conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.
