Job Title: Field Service Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Service Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing and maintaining construction equipment, traveling to various job sites, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain construction equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
  • Travel to various job sites to perform maintenance and repairs
  • Class A required for safe operation of equipment
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed
  • Follow specifications and procedures in service manuals and select designated tools
  • Measure and identify parts and components for reusability or replacement, ordering new parts as required
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to make adjustments to machines and systems
  • Make warranty recommendations and reports in representation of prime products
  • Perform minor welding, fabrication, plumbing alignment, and D.C. electric repairs
  • Guide and supervise subordinates in the repair of machinery equipment
  • Practice good housekeeping and safety measures and procedures
  • Complete service reports in the English language
  • Assist in the parts ordering process
  • Process warranty work orders
  • Process revenue field service work orders, obtain purchase orders from customers
  • Open and close work orders
  • Take phone calls for service jobs
  • Communicate job status, progress, and/or problems to customers
  • Complete special projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Ability to use Microsoft Excel, Word, and other MS Office programs
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use office machines (fax, copier, computer, etc.)
