Job Title: Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team at Leaf Home. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing previously installed windows and doors at customer's homes based on established service ticket requests.

Job Summary

The Service Technician is responsible for providing outstanding customer service in the course of service repairs, inspections, and other related tasks. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit customer homes to provide service to installed windows and doors.
  • Perform necessary services to gutter protection systems based on logged service ticket and onsite inspection.
  • Log services performed in service ticket system accurately and timely.
  • Proactively engage with customers to provide an outstanding customer service experience.
  • Follow established job site safety rules, OSHA guidelines, and company safety policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Experience in basic remodeling, construction, or other related field.
  • Reliable truck, van, or SUV that can carry ladders.
  • Functioning tools.
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to logically connect ideas, scrutinize and evaluate arguments, find inconsistencies and errors in work, solve complex problems, and engage in reflection.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, recognize, understand, and manage one's own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in windows and door installation, repair, or inspection.
