Position Overview:
We are in search of an innovative and meticulous Event Coordination Manager to oversee our event operations. In this capacity, you will manage all facets of event planning, from the initial stages to successful execution, ensuring our guests enjoy an exceptional experience. The Event Coordination Manager serves as a vital link between clients and hotel sales personnel, providing guidance and oversight during the implementation of meetings and banquet functions. You will be accessible to clients throughout the event to address issues and propose alternatives to prior arrangements. This role involves direct interaction with group and catering clients in a proactive manner, coordinating logistics related to group room allocations, food and beverage services, public meeting spaces, and billing procedures. Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales
  • At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage services
  • Strong knowledge of negotiation and contract interpretation
  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office
  • Maintain a professional appearance and exhibit confidence
  • Effective communication skills with the public and fellow team members
  • Strong time management abilities and capacity to perform under pressure
  • Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems
