Position Overview:
We are in search of an innovative and meticulous Event Coordination Manager. In this capacity, you will oversee all facets of event planning, from the initial stages to successful execution, ensuring that our guests enjoy an unforgettable experience. The Event Coordination Manager serves as a crucial link between clients and hotel sales personnel, providing guidance and oversight during the execution of meetings and banquet functions. You will be available to address any issues that arise during events and propose alternatives to previous arrangements. This role involves direct interaction with group and catering clients, proactively managing logistics related to group room blocks, food and beverage services, public meeting spaces, and billing processes. If you possess natural leadership qualities, thrive in a dynamic environment, and excel under pressure, we would like to hear from you.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and/or a minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales
  • At least 1 year of experience in food and beverage
  • Strong grasp of negotiation and contract interpretation
  • Excellent business communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proficient in computer usage and Microsoft Office
  • Professional appearance and self-assurance
  • Effective communication skills with the public and fellow team members
  • Strong time management abilities and capacity to work under pressure
  • Experience with major Hospitality Sales CRM systems
